American Pest's Technical and Training Entomologist, Dr. Kathy Heinsohn, B.C.E. has been nominated for the Entomological Society of America's Distinguished Service Award. Dr. Kathy was nominated by Dr. Shirpat Kamble, Urban Entomology Professor at University of Nebraska. The purpose of this award is to encourage, recognize, and reward outstanding contributions to the ESA Certification Program and the professionalism of entomology.
"I'm sure there are many worth candidates," Dr. Kathy said, "but I felt honored that [Dr. Shirpat Kamble] nominated my name! So we will see what happens."
The winner of this award will be announced at the Entomological Society of America's National meeting in November.
