Intrastate Pest Control was founded in 1969 by Robert “Bob” Wells and has served the Charlottesville community for three generations, with a strong market share and an unparalleled reputation. Greg Wells came to work full time in the business in 1994 and bought the business from his father in 2009. Valley Termite & Pest was purchased by Greg and his wife Barbara in 2004 and operates in the Shenandoah Valley footprint.

The acquisition of Intrastate Pest Company and Valley Termite & Pest Control, Inc. is American Pest’s 13th acquisition in 4 years, bringing 35 additional pest professionals to its expanding team. Paul Giannamore and Franco Villanueva-Meyer of The Potomac Company represented and acted as exclusive financial advisors to Intrastate and Valley in these transactions.
