American Pest celebrated another year of success and hard work on September 17th by treating employees and their families to a fun-filled evening hosted at Nationals Stadium.

After enjoying a cookout in the stadium, the 208 attendees took to their seats to watch the Nats take on the Marlins at 7:05pm.

Miranda Sherman, American’s Marketing & Advertising Manager, felt the picnic was a very successful event.

“The company picnic is something that we look forward to every year, as a chance to get to know our coworkers better and just enjoy a night out,” said Sherman. “And with our new sponsorship of the Nationals, it just made sense to make it a night with the Nats!”

The game went into extra innings, with the Marlins winning 4-1, but American Pest employees like Casey Cruz, Executive Assistant to the CEO, were proud to support their team until the end.

“I stayed until the end and it couldn’t have been more exciting,” said Cruz. “The tension could be cut like a knife. It was awesome to see that kind of game and share it with my co-workers!”
