American Pest sponsored two employees to run in this year’s Casey Cares 5K in addition to providing Nationals tickets to the foundation. Casey Cares is a foundation focused on enriching the lives of critically ill children and their families. Casey Cruz and Kaycie Goddard volunteered to run in the race which took place at Oriole Park at Camden Yards in Baltimore, Md. this Saturday.
“We thought it would be cute because our names are both Casey, just spelled differently,” Cruz says, “Plus it’s all for a great cause that we’re already a part of here at American Pest, so it was an easy sell for our CEO Matt to be on board as a sponsor.”
As a local, family run business, American Pest enjoys working with Casey Cares whenever possible in order to assist its mission to provide "ongoing, uplifting programs with a special touch to critically ill children and their families."
