American Pest is a VIP sponsor at the 2nd Annual Central Maryland’s Swinetastic BBQ Festival in Historic Frederick Maryland on June 15th & 16th.
Swinetastic is full of food, fun and live music. This two day event is home to some of Maryland’s best barbeque. American Pest is happy to be a sponsor of the event for a second year.
American Pest will have lots of free giveaways and fun activities for all ages. They will be giving away an all-inclusive BBQ Prize Pack to one lucky winner that includes grilling accessories for every level of barbeque, from beginner to expert. The knowledgeable staff present will be able to answer questions about pests and are full of tips to keep them out.
Along with giveaways, American Pest will have Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches on site for people to pet or hold, if they dare. In addition to friendly corn hole competitions and activities for children.
The festival will run from Friday, June 15 from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and continue on Saturday, June 16 from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Proceeds from Swinetastic benefit the American Cancer Society and Operation Second Chance. The American Cancer Society is famous for its commitment to raising money to fight cancer and fund educational endeavors about healthy living. Operation Second Chance is a patriotic organization that assists injured veterans and their families work through the struggles faced daily after the veterans are home. Their mission statement reads, “We support Veterans and their families while they recover in military hospitals, by building relationships and identifying and supporting immediate needs and interests.”
