This past week, American Pest was installed over 150 Sentricon stations at The Children’s Inn in Bethesda, Maryland. Both Glen Darby and Lexi Jones of American Pest donated their labor and time to install the stations to protect the 66,000 square-foot facility from subterranean termites.

The Children’s Inn of Bethesda provides families with seriously ill children who are participating in research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to stay free of charge. At the inn, they work to provide the families with the necessary resources to reduce stress physically and financially. They offer shuttles to appointments and grocery stores, offer last-minute meals for guests when they are on-the-go as well as many different rooms full of entertainment options for a variety of ages.

American Pest has protected the property for over 25 years, however, the addition of the new Sentricon stations—that were donated by Dow AgroSciences—will further protect the building from termites.   American Pest will continue providing preventative protection for the property and will inspect the Sentricon stations annually for termite activity.
