What should I expect during my service?

The disinfection application is dispersed in fine micron particles that will appear to hang in the air as they slowly settle onto all surfaces. This will result in the surfaces becoming moist for a short period after the treatment. This period is when the disinfectant takes action and the surface must be left to dry. There is no access to the space during this period, which is typically t two hours post completion of an application, dependant on the conditions of your home.

• Services include bio-misting and hard surface wipedown for heavily contacted surfaces and critical control points (exclusions apply).

• To provide the most effective outcome for your home, we provide options for frequency of treatment or phased treatments.

How Should I Prepare For My Service?

Every occupant of the home plays a role in effective prevention and treatment for your home. Following strict hygiene protocols and regularly cleaning frequently used items will be essential in the continued safety and protection of your home. Before your disinfecting service, please note the following preparations:

• Remove any items that could be damaged by moisture, such as paperwork or artwork.

• Remove all unsealed food items and medications from the area to be treated.

• Place all food containers and utensils in cupboards or drawers.

• Shut off all pilot lights or gas lines.

• Sanitize any items that will be covered or removed from the treatment area with a safe product such as an alcohol-based wipe or aerosol spray. Remember only items on-site have been sanitized.

• Allow for clear access for our technicians and remove any trip hazards.

• Remove pets from home during treatment. If you have fish tanks, please ask us for additional guidance.

Will I need to do anything after my service?

Apart from enjoying peace of mind for you and your loved ones, the following quick housekeeping tips should be noted for continued success.

• Advise all occupants that if there is any moisture remaining upon re-entry, it should be dried with a paper towel which should then be disposed of. Please avoid any direct contact with any remaining disinfectant solution.
• Rinse any food/drinking containers before use if they were left in an exposed location, including any pet food and water containers.
• Ensure that any new items brought back into the home are sanitized appropriately. Keep in mind that only items on-site have been sanitized.
