The NPMA’s Women of Excellence award recognizes women who advance the pest management industry every day, in every way. This international honor is open to women all throughout the pest control industry who demonstrate exceptional leadership and have made notable contributions to the development and growth of their profession, their business, and other women within the industry. This prestigious award is presented annually at PestWorld.
This October our own Vice President of Business Development, Andrea Brubaker, was recognized with the Women of Excellence award at PestWorld 2020. Andrea has been in the pest control industry for the past twenty-one years. She started out as a Commercial Accounts Representative and through hard work and determination she worked her way up to her current positions of Vice President of Business Development at American Pest, Co-founder of the local MD/DC/VA Professional Women In Pest Management chapter, and President of the Maryland State Pest Control Association (MSPCA).
Andrea is a certified applicator in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. She is an Associate Certified Entomologist and is also certified in Public Health. Andrea is a leader in our industry who is known for her well-rounded excellence in sales, management, service, education, and community involvement.
